So, pitchfork tv is helping block out the lackluster game that is on right now. I just watched an interview with NEUROSIS, wow….this entry is pretty pointless. At least it is tuesday and have a massive headache. I’m going to start dedicating more time to el arto here once the season tis’ in about a game and a period. I need to get back to my roots, look out new josef, the old josef is coming and he is bringing a metal type ass kicking.

I’ve been feeling a bit out of touch in das’ music scene as of late, but looking at this, I’m not sure that I’m missing that much. I think that I’ll stick to my non-live show trend that I’ve been doing since feb. of this year. A later hockey game is tonight, we’ll see how that goes. I might be down to 2 more games left in my season. That is all, until next time….COURAGE.

A good way to start a monday, I found das’ video. In the search, I’ve found blubberings from Wings Fans talking about the curse of the octopus has been stirred by McLeod, I guess we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see if anything has changed in das’ world of hockey. Until, it is work, eat, sleep and repeat.
P.S. I do realize that I’ve talked about this for 3 posts now. Eeep, I’ll find something else to talk about.
Still no video, but still searching. I need to work on some freelance and get my ducks in a row for the week. In other news, I’ve purchased some new slacks and other snazzy work gear. Watch out GQ. Well, off to the races.
Even after yesterday’s performance, I awake to a bit of hope and also happy that I’m into hockey and not basketball because I think I’d be a lot more down in the mouth if I followed the nuggets. My guess is that there are some folks from work that might be a bit let down. The video above is quite nerdy in many aspects, but hey…I had to find something to post until I can find the footage of Mcleod throwing the octopus back into the crowd.
Shall I attempt to update to WordPress 2.5.1 today? I think I might try that today, but only after doing the usual grocery store trip and saying farewell to another weekend.
I’ve been buying into a lot of superstitions and I think that I’ve loaded the game so the Wings shall fall in this one. We’ll see. Andy and Tressa are on their way from the tundra known as Laramie to hang for the game and some change. We also have the Canadian beer on our sides. No word on the status of Forsberg, but I think they’ve settled down and tightened since the first period of the last game and can play some decent hockey. What else can I say. Bring it.
*update: they brought it and it wasn’t pretty. Mcleod did throw the octopus back into the crowd, which I thought was rather enjoyable. Hopefully I’ll find video of that soon. I now have to wait until tuesday to see how everything plays out. Things are not looking so hot right now in camp de la deleted. Until the next time, courage.
Well, after a pretty weak showing in game one, I can only hope that game two is much much better, or I might have to quit depending on hockey to make me happy these days. At least there is another day of work for me before the weekend. I would hate to not have that, yep that is what I call sarcasm. I bet I’ll be in a chipper mood tomorrow, look out for that co-workers!
In other news, I had to fight the mass of Rockies fans to ride the train home today. I guess today was just full of little annoyances to really get the delete’s goose. Whatever that means.
We’re most likely going to have guests this weekend for game 2, hopefully the avalanche will have some special guests too, like who hockey version of the people who were on the ice tonight. I’m not looking forward to tomorrow’s edition of NHL live. My guess is people writing off the series to the wings after tonight’s game. We’ll see how that plays out. Ok, I’m boring myself. Off to either bed or art…..HMMMMM, oh the choices. Until next time, please remember that the RED WINGS SUCK.
I passed on my chance for tickets yesterday to game 4 of the second round of the playoffs. Oh well, I guess that I should pay for rent and bills instead. If anyone has some extra unwanted tickets for this game, I’d gladly pay you tuesday for a hamburger today.
So, with last night’s game between the Flames and the Sharks, the lanche are set to play the dreaded wings, which should make a few of my friends happy, and I guess it should be a good and intense series. I’m thinking it will be a much, much different showing that the regular season games, as those all happened before the trade deadline and the lanche found their defense and half of the team wasn’t out due to injury. I guess what I’m trying to say is….why the hell is the game starting at 5:30 tomorrow? Don’t they know that I don’t get home until a bit after six? Geez louise!
Tonight, I break into my freelance projects that have been accumulating over the past week. I’m sure I’ll have updates on that in the very near future….speaking of updates, somebody needs to update beendeleted.com. I’ll have a talk with that person. Well, off to the rat race. So, I was recently checking out the itsnicethat.com huge collection of links and came across a link that has a collection of interactive “Fold-ins” from Mad Magazine. That was always the best ending to the magazine. And I would like think that it had a small part into molding me into the DELETE that I am today. I think I’m going to have to start buying those again. Maybe it can cure my grumpiness that I’ve seem to have an issue with. Read the rest of this entry »
