I passed on my chance for tickets yesterday to game 4 of the second round of the playoffs. Oh well, I guess that I should pay for rent and bills instead. If anyone has some extra unwanted tickets for this game, I’d gladly pay you tuesday for a hamburger today. So, with last night’s game between the Flames and the Sharks, the lanche are set to play the dreaded wings, which should make a few of my friends happy, and I guess it should be a good and intense series. I’m thinking it will be a much, much different showing that the regular season games, as those all happened before the trade deadline and the lanche found their defense and half of the team wasn’t out due to injury. I guess what I’m trying to say is….why the hell is the game starting at 5:30 tomorrow? Don’t they know that I don’t get home until a bit after six? Geez louise! Tonight, I break into my freelance projects that have been accumulating over the past week. I’m sure I’ll have updates on that in the very near future….speaking of updates, somebody needs to update beendeleted.com. I’ll have a talk with that person. Well, off to the rat race. Until next time, courage.

Mad Magazine So, I was recently checking out the itsnicethat.com huge collection of links and came across a link that has a collection of interactive “Fold-ins” from Mad Magazine. That was always the best ending to the magazine. And I would like think that it had a small part into molding me into the DELETE that I am today. I think I’m going to have to start buying those again. Maybe it can cure my grumpiness that I’ve seem to have an issue with.

I’ve survived it to the weekend and have a game to watch esta noche, so that is good. The only bad thing is that the beginning of another work week is around the corner. Wow, maybe I should switch to being a goth. Yeepers, ok it is never time for that. Over the past week, I’ve gotten some ideas for some upcoming pieces. I also have some freelance projects that are in the works as well as gearing up for some polishing of the ol’ site. More to come on this in the very near future. That is all for now. Until the next time, remember….it takes a big man to cry, it takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

Drawing in Progress. Bright and early thursday morning, and I just read where DON CABALLERO is going into the studio to work on an album that is most likely going to see the light of day this fall. According to the band, it shall be “the best “Caballero” yet, all clichés detonated. This morning I’ve had a few ideas pop into my head for some illustration work. Also, I’m planning on a good polishing over of beendeleted.com. Stay tuned for that. Well, time to take Ike out for one more run before the work day ensues. Tonight, game 5….keep your fingers crossed.

Game 4 - Colorado Avalanche Game 4 - Colorado Avalanche Game 4 - Colorado Avalanche Well, I’ve posted some photos from our trip to game four of the first round of the playoffs. It was an awesome game and my wife and I had a good time. As you can see, we even ran into a “painter”. We were excited too. Needless to say, I’m pretty into hockey at this point in time. In fact, as I was listening to NHL live today, they mentioned the HOCKEY FALLS commercials from a few years back which made me check youtube to see if they had them, on of course they did. Anycrap, here they are and I swear I’ll go back to posting my artsy links here shortly, it might be sooner than later depending on the playoffs. We’ll see.

We’ve returned from Wyoming and didn’t have to brave too sketchy of conditions to make the trip as we caught the tale end of the snow storm on the way up and had a balmy 26 degree morning in Laramie today and had dry roads back to casa de la delete. After the trip, I’m now a firm believer that Courtney and myself might have been holding back Laramie from any sort of development as since our departure in July of two years ago, the campus of UW had a handful less of brand new buildings going up, not to mention all of the hotels and other franchises that have made their way into the town. Is there really that many people needing lodging when in Laramie? Is the territorial prison that big of a draw? Anyhoozit, it is weird, but nevertheless, the truck load of hicks putting each other in headlocks and making me really despise Toby Keith and country music even more, certainly made our departure a bit easier. I guess this is why when I hear folks humming “dueling banjos” when they find out that I was raised in Wyoming, it infuriates me to no end. Not that I’m defending the population of state, there are obviously some people like around, but close minded folks are everywhere and for me, both mindsets really fall into the same category, and another thing, what’s the deal with airplane food? Anyways…that has been the weekend. I’m counting down the time before game 4 of the lanche’s playoffs. The wife believes that I have a problem with all of the hockey that I’m watching. I’m starting to think that she is probably correct. I saw a bumper sticker on the road this weekend that read “SAVE QUEBEC”, if anyone knows where I might be able to find said bumper sticker, a hug and a high five is awaiting you. I’m sad that Grandaddy sold their song to Dodge and I’m sure all enjoyment of the song will be sucked out of it as they play it on every channel that I seem to come across. Oh the pain of popular music and advertising these days. Here are some random videos on hockey, politics, etc.
