Ah, yes….Francis Black. I’ve been listening to a lot of artists from the days of staying up until 2-3 in the morning to catch 120 minutes. In fact, I seem to recall an episode that had F.B. and Matt Pinfield on together. Talk about a lot of white, husky, bald men at once, EGAD! Anyways, I guess the moral of the story is that Frank Black usually can be the aspirin to your headache.
Am I the only one, but does the reintroduction of AMERICAN GLADIATORS make you want to puncture your ear drums and burn out your eyes? The wife and I purchased HUMAN GIANT over the weekend and have been enjoying that quite a bit.
I thought that it would be a great idea to order my mother a batch of flowers for Mother’s Day. So after a bit of looking, I thought that I would use the more popular site, 1-800-flowers. As the hours passed yesterday, I thought that I’d get a phone call from my mother thanking me for such a thoughtful gift, but as of Monday evening about 8.55pm, no flowers have darkened the doorstep of my parent’s house as of yet. I’ve contacted the company, via email a few times and have yet to get a non-form letter and haven’t yet tried calling as of yet as I don’t want to taint any of my non-office time relaxation time, so I guess I’ll wait to see if I just wasted a bunch of money on a bunch of flowers that will never show up. I’ll stick with hand delivering the presents from now on.
I’ve got a few ideas in the back of my head for some illustrations, but have to catch up on my freelance work first. I’ll post any progress on this when it happens. Well, that is all for now. Until next time….COURAGE.
