Gomedia is continuing it’s series on mistakes made by designers in the music apparel industry, though it really can be applied to any facet of the design industry. Oh, if only I would had read some of these before painting myself in a corner.

After the week of revisiting my metal roots, I’ve now have repurchased a Carcass album and two Danzig album. Oh the humanity. It has been nice. Though I wasn’t able to attend the funeral service for my friend yesterday, I was there in my head.
In other news, A Brand Above is an awesome Canadian design firm. I really like the collection of identities as well as the illustration work. I came across this via the newly redesigned surfstation.com. It is quickly trumping my daily interwebs peeping schedule.

With a freshly shaved noggin, I’m ready for the second round of the week. Tonight is going to be dedicated to illustration and submersing myself in many a Patton project. My thoughts are with friends and family of a friend who passed away this past saturday.

I came across this via Mr. Stout’s site. Oh stop motion animation, you’re a very patient form of animation. It is ten-eleven in the evening and I’m fighting to stay awake. I think that I should either figure out how the hell to stay up later than whether it be coffee, drugs or toothpicks in the eyelids, like Barney Rubble used to do or just be more productive in the hours that I am awake. I’ve recently been doing a lot of research for a project at the day job that management has dropped upon me. So I’ve been looking up info on the War of Stars, some folks call it Star Wars, whatever.
