Josef is designing, illustrating and delivering the groceries at 138 beats per minute.

Discos out, murders in.

HEIKO MÜLLER has some interesting imagery going on. A little sense of old timey cartoons on some sort of glue. Josef likes, for certain. Check out the site and enjoy. I’ve been thinking that a coloring book might be a good idea. I could have available for download and we here at BeenDeleted Inc. could offer a weekend with Josef and the rest of the deleted fambly? Is that an idea or what? More to come on that. Well, I’m off to watch another loss in my hockey column. Until next time, courage!

Ice Fishing, as such.

Well, I’m heading out to try and find some brookies willing to bite in some of the frozen beaver ponds on the summit, about 20 miles from here. With a fog warning intact and a fairly chilly 17 degrees, I think we should be set. Every trip reminds me of the great/short lived show “Fishing with John”, especially the episode with W. DaFoe. If this was the first time of viewing this masterpiece, shame on you but I did notice that they have the majority of the other episodes available for viewing via youtube. That is all for now, until next time, COURAGE.

Friday night bites.

Unless you listen to these few gems. I ate crap tonight in Fantasy Hockey, what can I say….I should stick with NHL 09, where I can cheat. That is all for now. Until next time, courage.

I’m real sorry your mom blew up, ricky.

Holy shit, it’s been a long week. My grandfather passed away yesterday, the grind is proving to me that I’m continuing the roll of the ricky smith of the work place. The weekend is a nine hour shift away and then it is some home time which will include some R&R, illustration, hockey night in Canada, freelance and a partridge in a pear tree. That tis’ all for now. Until the next time, COURAGE.

Matt Taylor.

Matt Taylor has some of the most solid illustration work that I’ve seen in some time. ENJOY!

Good Inventions.

So, I picked up the issue of the HOCKEY NEWS that is dedicated to the history of the goalie mask. Certainly a proper use of my money not to mention a good way to get out of the office. The progression of the style of mask I’ve always wondered about and the designs are quite rad if I do say so myself! Things have been about the same in the land of the delete. The daily grind has been a bit more “typical” as of late, so I’ll be happy to get a break from it all next week. There has been mention of trying to find some ice that could be fit for an ice fishing excursion, but with the weather we’ve had as of late I think a pretty large cold snap would have to happen. More to come soon, I’ve got to finish the hockey watching for the evening. Until the next time, courage.

I am a patient boy, I wait, I wait, I wait.

I’ve made it to Wednesday, finally. I’ve been doing some more illustration, pictured above, and will be putting the finishing touches on this tonight whilst watching das’ hockey game. I’ve been purchasing some albums that I’ve either owned and pawned in “rougher” times or never had a proper copy, one group that recently found their way on the iPOD, Fugazi. I know, a staple for most, but it’s on there now. Remember the few times that they played a little joint called Laramie? I do.

Sunday, bloody Sunday.

The Deleted family had a nice time at the hockey game last night. Not the most intense game that we’ve attended, but a win none the less. Also, I just looked up some background on Peter McNab and there is video proof of a bit of a debacle in ’79 that involved him crawling into the crowd and someone ending up getting beaten by their own shoe.  Anyhoozle, I’m still working on illustrations and will hopefully have something to post very, very shortly. Until then, enjoy a video dump. Read the rest of this entry »
