One Year.

At 1:45 p.m. this afternoon it will be exactly one year since my father has passed away. I’m unable to sum much up into words, so here is a poem that I came across from my Father’s writing collection.

Imagining My Mountains

Evening paints the blue shoulders of Black Tooth and Cloud Peak
The glaciers on the north side is a royal purple
I ache for my days I’ll stand next to the creek
Casting light lines to the wary trout

My busy life keeps me on the flats
But my imagination stays on the sweetgrass
Waving my thin stick at the fish
Those were the days.

That is all for now, until next time…COURAGE.
