I’ve been working on a few illustration ideas that shall hopefully surface through the weekend. That is if I can recharge the batteries from road trips, paperwork and the cubicle. Will post either here or facebook when finished. Also, if anyone reads this and is interested in owning their very own “EL DELETO” 1-inch button. Shoot me an email and I’ll see what I can do. I know that there are a lot of folks that are difficult to shop for, this could be another option that they wouldn’t be interested in. Those people are picky jerks, and you should probably shun them and their picky ways. Why don’t you just get a button for yourself? They glow in the dark and they’re black, which goes with everything. Well, that is all the upselling that I’m programmed to do.

Until next time…COURAGE.

So, yes it has been awhile since I’ve posted a blog. Lets just say that I’ve had other items on the ol’ noggin. It is eeking into winter which means the options that Deleted Inc. usually pass on are limited to navigating our way through the non-plowed streets of the cheap ass community that we live in to do the everyday grind and try not to pop or permanently cripple our vehicles as a result. I hope that supply of the expensive mustache wax and diesel truck was worth it, you douche nozzles.

Wow, I bet you’ve missed our little one sided conversations. Well, until the next time…COURAGE.

It is the beginning of another week, which means I have to declare something as the carrot at the end of the stick, or else, well or else I’d probably start the habit of taking weeping breaks more often in the day. Right now I have them cornered to 6am until I park the car and head into work, then there is my lunch break, maybe a couple of bathroom breaks during the work day and then finally from 9:30 pm until I fall asleep. So, back to the carrot at the end of the stick…the last two weeks I’ve had trips to the mountains to fill this void. I guess this week would have to be the return of regular season hockey. My team doesn’t play their game until Saturday, so that is a few moons from now. We’ll see how I that cranks out.

I’ve been working on some illustrations, but have realized that they feel as if they are the same of the same. I believe the delete needs a vision quest or something of the sort, maybe just some vacation time from the daily grind. It is hard to explore such avenues with the weeping schedule that I have going on.

That is all for now, until next time remember… COURAGE.

Above is what I have going right now. More to be added soon and then eventually into the portfolio. Keep an eye out of that.

So it has been a long and bitter week for the delete, but it has gone by a fair pace. I think it is because we declared the fact that we’d be going to the mountains again this weekend. It helps one delete to have a carrot on a stick in order to swim through the pains of the weekday calendar.

I’ll be sure to have photographic proof of me being somewhere else than a cubicle, car or our basement. That is for the non-believers of Josef never doing anything else.

That is all for now, until next time…COURAGE.

This weekend was a much needed break from the grind. Plans are in the works for next weekend to continue the mountain excursion for the fall. Lets hear it for the carrot on the end of the stick.

Until next time, COURAGE.

Hockey is nearing its arrival in full contact glory. With amazement, they are actually broadcasting a large chunk of pre-season games on the NHL Network, which is a nice life preserver when you’re drowning in a sea of football and otherĀ  soul crushing television that I could give two craps about. Viva la hockey folks, and if you aren’t down with that, I’ve got two words for you….YOUR BORING.

A recent posting of the new BATTLES video has made me realize that maybe I haven’t strayed too far away from music yet. You see for the past few years, I’ve taken myself out musically. This really wasn’t something that happened on purpose, but working on our third year of isolation I’ve come to realize that maybe this could help with what seems to be the dark days of the delete.

The visuals in the video are quite nice. As a small ginger, I once tried to fall down an escalator. If it wasn’t for a fur lined hood on my winter coat and a quick grab, I could still rolling on said escalator at the Aurora mall. I guess what I’m looking for is the next fur lined hood to snap me out of my haze. I’ve started illustrating again and will be adding as much of that to the portfolio. I’ve been watching a lot of local news which is hard to do, but I like to put myself in these uncomfortable scenarios for inspiration. Not that I have to stray too far from myself to get uncomfortable, I’ve made a living at that. Hence the few Harmony Korine pieces in my DVD collection.

In life, it is easy to be dragged into the mud with mundane details such as the daily grind, pointless work situations and reality television. With this being said, I’ve resorted to proclaiming certain days of the week dedicated to something. For example, today hasĀ  been declared ST Wednesday, which means that sure I’ll still be going to work as per usual, but Suicidal Tendencies will be the band that is playing on my iPOD today…during every sketch adjustment, client contact, to-do list creation, etc. It doesn’t seem like much, but without such declarations, I believe that the rats have really won.

This past weekend I spent a good amount of time in the mountains with my best friend fly fishing. It was great. In everyday life, I really don’t converse too much face to face, which can sometimes wear on one’s self worth. It has become apparent that I really do need to take vacation days and that some sort of life revampage might be worth something. Don’t worry, I’m not speaking of church.

On the topic of a spiritual revival, I’m redesigning beendeleted.com. I’m not too amped about much of what is up here, and so as the saying goes, it is back to the ol’ drawing board. More on this soon. Until next time…COURAGE.
