I put the finishing touches on the sketch and threw it into a frame. I have a goal of framing much of my work and then when I go to the big delete in the sky, my relatives have a better chance of getting rid of it for a larger price tag. Good thinking eh?
Well, the long weekend felt like it only lasted a few hours. Once again I find myself staring down the barrel of another week. The great escape to Seattle is coming up in a few weeks, so that shall be a good time. We had to make a quick run to the airport this afternoon to drop off the car for G and all so they can head back to WY. Being in the airport made me itchy to travel. Read the rest of this entry »

The new melvins album drops on tuesday. I believe we’ll be in attendence at the Seattle show. Shall be a good time. So the long weekend begins and I’m up at the usual time, so continues my battle with the calendar begins. Wow, my allergies are driving me insane this morning. Where is the claritan when you need it? Guess I’ll have to make a run to store here shortly, hopefully I won’t run off the road in mid-sneeze.

There is always room for Jello. Ok, that was a lame thing to say, but hey, sounds like that should be a good show. We’re probably going to catch the Melvins whilst on holiday in Seattle next month. The melvins date here in d-town is going to have SECRET CHIEFS 3 on the date as well. Maybe I should hit that up as well? Can you say epic?

I have a friend that is a bit frightened by claymation, I’m not sure what his thoughts are on the band HELLA, but I’m not afraid of this video. Hey-o! (That was for my friend Bennett!).
Courtney, Ike and myself will be on the road starting friday evening/early saturday morning to take a break from things and visit my rents, in which we’ve not seen since November. It will be a nice break. Well off to my rat killing. Until next time….COURAGE.
Ah, yes….Francis Black. I’ve been listening to a lot of artists from the days of staying up until 2-3 in the morning to catch 120 minutes. In fact, I seem to recall an episode that had F.B. and Matt Pinfield on together. Talk about a lot of white, husky, bald men at once, EGAD! Anyways, I guess the moral of the story is that Frank Black usually can be the aspirin to your headache.
Am I the only one, but does the reintroduction of AMERICAN GLADIATORS make you want to puncture your ear drums and burn out your eyes? The wife and I purchased HUMAN GIANT over the weekend and have been enjoying that quite a bit. Read the rest of this entry »
