Black Albino Bones.

fuckedup-father-damien I’ve recently started listening to more Fucked Up, which in retrospect, is a crime! I should have been listening to these Canucks a long time ago. They have found their way onto Matador records. The lead singer goes by the moniker of Pink Eyes and holds a masters or maybe even a PhD in Gender Studies. Who said punks were stupid? Add another well educated punk to the fire. Enjoy a few of the videos below: Read the rest of this entry »

A friday night video dump with 8-bit metally goodness

The hospital trip is inching closer and closer, so to pass the time I had some ice cream and a little bit of beer to wash down the salad that I had for dinner. I know, I’m the picture of health. Anyhoozles, enjoy the 8 bitty goodiness. You’re welcome. Read the rest of this entry »

Australopithecus

Enjoy.

Mind the Drift.

big-business-mind-the-drift Mind the Drift, the new installment from the lads in Big Business. For the jaded masses that have given this opus a thumbs down, shame on you. The delete has given his stamp of approval. That is all for now, until next time….courage.

Ed Force One.

Great work coming from the peeps at studiokxx. After a day of hitting up the movies with my wife to see this great piece of cinema, after a brisk walk around the neighborhood in the rain which will likely turn to snow today, I settled back in for two and a half hours of maiden. Not a bad agenda for the weekend so far. I’m going to continue work on some illustrations that deal with myself and some arch rivals from my elementary days, that’s correct, bullies. Not sure how they’ll be referenced exactly, but I’ll be playing around with that as well. Stay tuned for more updates. Until next time, COURAGE.

Eddie.

Lots of Maiden going on in the house today, which I can’t complain. I remember first seeing this commercial at my grandparent’s house in the middle of NE, twas’ like a metal-ly drink of water for the delete.

Two Weeks.

This album has been dominating the iPOD for the past few days. Trendy, maybe, give a crap, NO. The delete is tired and must sleep, untill next time, COURAGE.

Dark Night of the Soul.

A recent visit to becauseweliketo.com, a quite fetching and informative blog I might add,  brought me to an NPR First Listen of the album “Dark Night of the Soul“, which includes two of my staples of creative-bran, Sparklehorse and David Lynch. As mentioned on BWLT, the album might not be released, which would be not so good. The delete will cross his fingers, toes and his unborn daughter’s digits in hopes that this is not true.
