Bozo Skeleton.

The weekend was a pretty decent experience for Camp BeenDeleted. There were some hockey games to check out and has me ready for the real opening night coming up this thursday. I think I’ve signed up for all the television that I can in order to see as much hockey as possible. I don’t think I’m going to be too popular with the wife as a result.

I was able to do some freelance work as well as adding some items to my site. More to come with this. I’ve still got some work to wrap up on the freelance front and will hopefully have this completed in the next few days.

That is all for now. Until next time, courage.

Jon Contino

Designiskinky.com posted the work of Mr. Jon Contino recently. A gander at his site is a must. Some pretty interesting work. A bit of Ralph Steadman type work, if I do say so myself. ENJOY!

Hockey moms against a hockey mom.

I’m hating the fact that they’re mixing hockey in with politics, but thought this clip was rather entertaining. Hopefully this will be the information the public needs on where to place their vote!

Finally, the puck has dropped on the first game of the season. I think I’ve already spent too much time prepping for this season. The real season starts on thursday. Prepare the horns! Until next time, courage.

Aleks Sennwald on a friday.

(Found on itsnicethat.com)

Aleks Sennwald has some pretty interesting illustrations. I likes it.

Well, it is friday and I’ve managed to stomach another week, good for me. this weekend marks the beginning of hockey season, though it really doesn’t get going until this coming thursday. All I can say is, goodie! I’m tired of hearing about all other sports and I’m ready to plug my ears with the hockey season, a sport that is worth watching. Please tell Palin to quit associating hockey with herself, it is not necessary.

I did a bit of illustration work last evening and will get the roughs ready to ship off tonight. Let’s hope that the day job doesn’t suck all of my ambition out of me. Fingers crossed, until next time courage.

Mr. Rotten, why?

Not that I’ve ever been a huge fan, but I miss the man who would walk out of interviews for no apparent reason. Apparently that is left up to bands like Coldplay and Oasis now?

Thursday.

After a not so nice night’s slumber, I’m dressed and ready to go to yet another day of the grind. I’m looking forward to the weekend because A.) I won’t be around the cubicle of social awkwardness for two days and B.) The NHL Center Ice package should be bringing me some games. I have to get through a “review” at the job before any of this begins though. Anyhoozle, on to it.

I will be trying to get a big amount of some illustration work done tonight. Progress will be posted soon. I’m also going to be wrapping up work on a site, most likely over the weekend, and should be live shortly afterwards. More work will be posted on my portfolio too. I’m sure I’ll have some blathering about that afterwards too. Promises, promises.

Recently I’ve been dealing with the fact that I’m not getting into much new music anymore as I guess that either I’ve become bland/bored/old and just don’t get the “new” wave of music or all trends have become overdone, overplayed and lacking any thought and creativity. Most likely it is me becoming old. Think of it as Karma for razzing people for being old about ten years ago. But still, to make me happy, I think of it as idiot kids have taken the reins and there is no place for me in the scene. The fact that I haven’t been to a show in just about a year proves to me that I might be done with any sort of scene. Bring on the old age and hermitism. Talk about a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.

That is all for now, until next time, COURAGE.

In these difficult times…

Ice skating chimps sort of make all worries go away, right? You can thank my friend Mr. Wirtz for directing me to this gem of a video.

So, last evening I officially ordered the NHL Center Ice package and according to the Red Wings fan, Herman, who fielded my phone call, I should be able to watch games starting Wednesday. So, there is hope for my carrot-less stick. Tonight I will hopefully find some time to start on some illustrations that have been requested for a few musical projects, also known as bands. More on this soon. Enjoy the horror that is tuesday.

The weekend is coming to a close, and I’ve made pretty decent progress on some freelance projects. The only downside is that I feel like I worked a couple twelve hours days for what comes to about pennies per hour and,  well, consuming about a full day of my weekend. Maybe I’m paying myself in experience and will soon be able to swim in my vault of money like scrooge mcduck, that guy was an asshole. That is all for now. Until next time, courage.

Me and my Black Metal Friends.

Wow, was it just me or did this week suck a big one. It might be the fact that I’ve been in my “dark place” for quite some time now. One casualty of the work week was a pair of scissor in which someone borrowed without me knowing and in the process returned them broken, it is weird how life can resemble third grade, even at thirty-one.  Well, enough of that. It tis’ the weekend, which means a break and some videos for youse to enjoy.
