Well, after another week in the trenches, it is the weekend. I’m currently sitting back, watching this SONIC YOUTH dvd and awaiting a shower and such, as there is a hockey game in the very near future for the delete and company. Shall be a good time.
Speaking of hockey, I heard a comment the other day comparing interest in hockey to being an avid gun nut. Wow, talk about a rather bold statement, but then again one hears such things on a regular basis if I share the fact that I grew up in Wyoming for a good portion of my life. Some people’s children, right?
*update: after attending the above mentioned hockey game, I can now see how people can say such things as we sat next to a crowd of folks that made me rethink this. Sort of makes one rethink interest, but don’t worry, I’ve recovered. Haha.
Anyways, I’m still working on a couple of illustrations and have to wrap up a freelance project as well as get more details on a potentially hefty and pretty cool project upcoming. More on this soon. Until the next time, courage.

Mid-point of das’ season.
Well, it is just after the mid-point of the hockey season and things aren’t looking so good. Well, at least the economy is….oh wait. At least I’ve been getting a lot of illustration work….oh wait…OK. 9.07 on saturday evening, the wife is reading, the pups are sleeping and I’m watching HNIC, that stands for Hockey Night in Canada for those who don’t know the lingo. They spoke of the fight posted above, and I thought that I’d post it for all to enjoy. Reeks of a fight that I once had in first grade, guess who I was in the fight.
I’m working on an illustration as we speak, it’s going rather slow, but I should be posting progress here soon. That tis’ all for now, until next time…..courage.

Good Inventions.
So, I picked up the issue of the HOCKEY NEWS that is dedicated to the history of the goalie mask. Certainly a proper use of my money not to mention a good way to get out of the office. The progression of the style of mask I’ve always wondered about and the designs are quite rad if I do say so myself!
Things have been about the same in the land of the delete. The daily grind has been a bit more “typical” as of late, so I’ll be happy to get a break from it all next week. There has been mention of trying to find some ice that could be fit for an ice fishing excursion, but with the weather we’ve had as of late I think a pretty large cold snap would have to happen.

Sunday, bloody Sunday.
The Deleted family had a nice time at the hockey game last night. Not the most intense game that we’ve attended, but a win none the less. Also, I just looked up some background on Peter McNab and there is video proof of a bit of a debacle in ’79 that involved him crawling into the crowd and someone ending up getting beaten by their own shoe. Anyhoozle, I’m still working on illustrations and will hopefully have something to post very, very shortly. Until then, enjoy a video dump.
