I’d say that this summer has sucked some eggs. Maybe this’ll make room for the change that I’ve needed for the past few years. It sort of reminds me of moving on from my goth girlfriend back in the day. Whom am I kidding, I’m always moving on from some form of goth…am I right? If you didn’t know, I’m no longer working with/for a certain canine organization. Shit went sour and I finally had to cut bait and move on. I feel like I’ve let down my Bostons but I explained to them that I’d give them more treats if they’d lay off. Trying to explain to them about the rise and fall of human relationships really goes nowhere.
Searching for employment is rough, though it is exciting to think that there are better opportunities out there for me. At the ripe age of 45, I feel like this quote from Elaine is relevant ” Hey! I have spent a lot of time, and I have eaten a lot of crap to get to where I am today. And I am NOT throwing it all away now.” So bring me the good jobs. I’m a good egg and would be a great addition to your company!
It’s pretty much the end of summer here on Hoth. We had a hail storm that ravaged the fruits of Farmer Josef’s labors. I’ve been moving on from that and unfortunately from the hummingbirds too as it looks like they’re ready to return elsewhere. The one thing that I have going right now is looking forward to the wrasslin’ PPV this weekend. I know, simple pleasures for simple minds, but the Delete likes him some spandexed drama.
