Summer tis’ on it’s way out, we’ve still got some time, but I’m guessing the end of August will complete itself and then the clock starts on getting ready for hockey. I’m excited for that. I’m not sure what else is going on, things have been sort of numb round these parts as of late. The wife has been working a lot and the Beatrix is dreading the return of school and I’ve just been trying to keep on top of self assigned chores and the never ending job search. Something shall break here soon, I know it.
Freelance has slowed down considerably. I’m taking this time to get in a few projects for myself that I tabled because I kept getting projects. Secretly I’m hoping that I’ll have to table them again. So if you have work for me, help me table these projects and get me back to bringing in some scratch for the family.
I recently somewhat completed a velvet painting of the one and only PW Herman, a major influence on this kid. I now have five sort of complete velvets hanging on the mantle. It’s fancy in an old shag carpet sort of way.
I also did some cover art work for the fine folks at Wax Donut Records. It’s a compilation that is raising money for a good cause, you should check it out!
I’m headed south tonight for the King Dunn show in Fort Collins, which should be good. This is also a test for the body of the Delete. The last few shows that I’ve gone to I’ve lost my hearing, eyesight and nearly vomited. If this continues, I might have to give up going to shows. I don’t know what is wrong with me. Aging blows and I’m doing it terribly.
Well that is about all that I can think of to bore you with right now. Until next time, COURAGE. And as always #FODBM
